Why Tier Pricing?
We want every child to be able to experience a great week at camp. Tiered pricing allows families to choose the option that works best for them, while also giving others the opportunity to support the ministry and help make camp accessible to more children.

Camp Good News West is a high-energy, joy-filled day camp where kids experience an unforgettable week of fun while learning life-changing truths from the Bible.

This year’s Bible theme, “Turned Around,” highlights five powerful stories of people in Scripture whose lives were completely transformed when they encountered the living God. Through engaging Bible lessons, skits, discussion, and hands-on activities, campers will discover that God is still at work today—changing hearts and lives.

Camp Good News West is staffed by caring volunteers, trained summer interns, and full-time staff who are committed to providing a safe, encouraging, and Christ-centered environment. All staff comply with CEF’s Our Beliefs, Child Abuse Policies, and Pennsylvania state requirements.

The purpose of our day camps reflects the mission of our ministry: to reach boys and girls for Jesus, help them grow in their faith, and encourage them to become established in local churches. Day camp is a unique and effective setting for this, combining excitement, high energy, team spirit, and sincere, caring leaders.

During camp, your child will enjoy:

• Games and sports such as Gaga Ball, Archery, 4 Square Volleyball

• An exciting missionary story

• Quiz Down
• Skits
• Bible memory activities, and more!

(Note: Not all activities are available at every camp.)

Camp Good News West is a week your child will remember—full of laughter, friendship, discovery, and opportunities to grow in their faith.

When:

• Monday-Friday (10:00 a.m. -  3:00 p.m.).
• July 6-10, 2026.
• Parents, please do not drop campers off before 9:45am. Please come into the gym to pick up children.

Where: 

• Gateway Church (160 Cowan Rd, Parkesburg, PA 19365). 

​Who:

• For children who have completed 2nd through 6th grades.

Your child should bring a lunch to Camp Good News. (No refrigeration is available). Make sure your child's lunch is plainly labeled.
